Cancellation policy

You shall have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without stating any reason. The cancellation period shall be fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you – who is not the carrier – have taken possession of the goods.

In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (carisco GmbH & Co. KG, Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Straße 21, 41199 Mönchengladbach, Germany, info@carisco.com, phone: 021661309950) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by way of issuing an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached sample cancellation form, but this is not mandatory.

In order to meet the cancellation deadline, it shall be sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

Consequences of cancellation

Should you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you – including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us) – without undue delay and, in any event, not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. When making the repayment, we shall use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment. We may refuse to refund you until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earliest.

You must return (or hand over) the goods to us immediately and, in any case, within fourteen days at the latest from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline shall be deemed met if you ship the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is attributable to the handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties and functionality.

Important information

Should you finance the conclusion of this contract with a loan and later cancel it, you shall no longer be bound by the loan agreement, provided that both contracts form a single economic unit. This is to be assumed, in particular, if we are also your lender or if your lender makes use of our co-operation with regard to the financing. Should we have already received the loan when the cancellation takes effect, your lender will assume our rights and obligations under the financed contract in relation to you with regard to the legal consequences of the cancellation or return. The latter shall not apply if the subject of this contract pertains to the acquisition of financial instruments (e.g. securities, foreign exchange or derivatives).
Should you wish to avoid a contractual commitment as far as possible, make use of your right of cancellation and also cancel the loan agreement if you also have a right of cancellation for this.

Deviating return costs regulation for Germany
We shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods if the return is made within Germany.

Return labels
Without prejudice to your statutory rights, we shall provide you with free return labels for your returns within Germany. We shall send you the return label by e-mail. You may hand in your return to a parcel shop of the respective provider in Germany.
